About Pragya

Migration advice should be clear, correct, and given by someone who actually understands the client's situation.

Pragya founded Education Embassy in 2014 and has led the practice ever since. That philosophy has shaped how the agency runs from day one.

Pragya comes from a Nepalese background and speaks Hindi, English, and Nepalese. She is particularly valued among Queensland's Nepalese and North Indian communities for her cultural fluency and ability to explain complex migration matters in the language the client is most comfortable with. Her core practice area is partner visas — some of the most personal work in migration law.

Areas of practice

What Pragya handles.

Pragya's practice covers partner visas end-to-end plus the broader family stream.

Onshore Partner (820/801)

Temporary and permanent 820/801 for couples in Australia. Full evidence preparation across financial, social, household, and commitment aspects.

Offshore Partner (309/100)

309/100 for couples where the applicant is outside Australia. Includes Nepal, India, and other offshore applications.

Prospective Marriage (300)

Subclass 300 for engaged couples planning to marry in Australia. Timing, evidence, transition to onshore partner visa after marriage.

Australian partner visa assessment looks at four areas.

Financial aspects (joint accounts, shared expenses), social aspects (being known as a couple), household aspects (sharing a home and responsibilities), and commitment (long-term plans). A strong partner visa application shows evidence across all four areas, not just one.
