Australia's eVisitor visa is for short visits. Applied online, often decided within hours. Faster and simpler than a Subclass 600 in most cases.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City.
Not for other nationalities
Most Asian and Middle Eastern passports use the ETA (Subclass 601) or a full Subclass 600.

What the eVisitor allows
12 months validity. 3 months per visit.
The eVisitor is a multiple-entry visa valid for 12 months from grant.

eVisitor condition 8201 usually applies.

Can I work on an eVisitor?
No. Work is not permitted on any visitor visa including the eVisitor.
Can I extend my stay in Australia past 3 months on an eVisitor?
Not directly. Once your 3-month stay ends, you must leave. You can re-enter on the eVisitor during its 12-month validity for another 3-month visit.
Does the eVisitor carry condition 8503?
Sometimes. The Department can add 8503 in specific cases. Check your grant notice.
What if my eVisitor is refused?
