How long can a person stay in Australia on a sponsored visa?

The stay will be determined by the type of visa. The TSS visa grants three types of stay options: short term stream, medium-term stream, and labor agreement stream.

The short-term stream grants permission to the worker to stay in Australia for two years. The medium-term visa allows the employees to live in the country for up to four years. The Labour Agreement Stream grants permission to the employee to be sponsored under the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482) or the Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186). The length of the visa is decided on an individual basis.

Is there any option of permanent residence without a 457 visa or a TSS visa?
